Waiting is one of the hardest parts of life. We wait in traffic, in hospitals, for jobs, for marriage, for healing… but what happens when God Himself asks you to wait? And wait patiently?

In this message from Psalm 40, we explore what it means to wait patiently on the Lord. David testifies of God lifting him out of the pit and giving him a new song, and through this psalm we see how:

  •  Waiting develops trust instead of turning to idols.

  •  Surrender matters more than empty sacrifices.

  •  Remembering God’s past works fuels present faith.

  •  Crying out in weakness positions us for God’s strength.

Key Line: “God doesn’t just want you saved—He wants you surrendered.”
